Charging stops at 60% after Windows 10 Creators update

Lenovo OneKey Backup to network share

The Lenovo OneKey program runs as administer. Therefore it does not see network shares or drives mapped to network shares by the logged in user. To backup to a network share, run a command prompt as administrator (right-click command prompt shortcut and select "Run as Administrator"). Then run:
net use Z: \\computer\sharename
Start Lenovo OneKey and the Z: drive should be available.
The Z: drive will not be available in Windows Explorer because it runs under the logged in user.
When finished, close OneKey and run:
net use Z: /d
Note that since the only way the Lenovo Yoga 2 can connect to the network is via Wi-Fi, backing up to a network share will take much more time than backing up to a local device.

Lenovo OneKey Backup to usb drive

Backup to Toshiba 1TB External drive resulted in the error:

An internal program error has occurred.
Failed: errorcode 0x80EF0809

Tried reformatting the drive under Windows 8.1, same result at 40% complete.

Repartitioned drive. Control Panel > System and Security > Administrative Tools Open Computer Management, select Storage > Disk Management

Found a 100 MB partition marked unused. Deleted the main partition, repartitioned and formatted the entire drive. OneKey Backup worked.

Backup to Toshiba 1TB External drive resulted in the error at 75%:

An internal program error has occurred.
Failed: errorcode 0x80EF0809

Tried again with the same result.

Restarted Windows. OneKey Backup worked.

Charging stops at 60% after Windows 10 Creators update

Apparently, the Windows 10 Creators update defaults to a power management setting that stops charging at 60% in an attempt to prolong battery life.

To revert to the previous power management setting that allows full battery charging, open Programs / Lenovo / Energy Manager, click on the Settings tab and change the setting. You will know you have selected the right setting when the system tray battery icon status shows charging and the charge in level is above 60%.
